Privacy Policy

Ambient Studio (“Ambient Studio,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) provides an AI-assisted creative workspace that helps users create, organize, edit, arrange, and export visual content, including scenes, objects, brand assets, sketches, and related creative materials.

1. Information We Collect

Account Information

When you create or use an Ambient Studio account, we may receive or store your name, email address, account identifiers, authentication details, session information, and subscription or plan status.

If you sign in with Google, Google may provide basic profile information such as your name, email address, profile image, and Google account identifier, depending on the permissions you authorize.

Ambient Studio does not currently request access to sensitive Google services such as Gmail, Google Drive, Google Calendar, or Google Contacts unless a future feature clearly asks for such permission.

Email Authentication Information

Ambient Studio may use email-based authentication codes or links. Email delivery may be handled through third-party infrastructure such as Resend. We may process your email address, authentication status, delivery status, and limited technical information necessary to deliver and verify login communications.

User-Provided Content

You may upload or provide images, visual references, brand assets, prompts, descriptions, sketches, canvas content, project information, and creative instructions. We process this information to provide the features you request.

Generated Content

Ambient Studio may create or help create images, text, creative suggestions, prompts, scene descriptions, object concepts, brand concepts, and future video content using artificial intelligence services. Depending on the feature, information you submit may be transmitted to the selected AI provider for processing.

Payment Information

Payments and subscriptions may be processed through Stripe. Ambient Studio does not directly store full payment card numbers. Stripe may process billing and transaction information, and we may receive limited payment and subscription information needed to determine access to paid features.

Technical and Usage Information

We may collect browser type, device type, IP address, operating system, session information, feature usage, error logs, authentication events, service requests, generation activity, credit or usage balances, and timestamps.

Local Storage and Browser Data

Ambient Studio may use local storage, session storage, or similar browser technologies to remember settings, drafts, interface preferences, or temporary creative state. Removing browser storage may remove locally saved draft information.

2. How We Use Information

• Create and manage user accounts.

3. AI Service Providers

Ambient Studio may connect to third-party AI providers, including OpenAI, Google, Groq, Anthropic, Runway, and other providers added in the future. Information necessary to perform your request may be sent to the applicable provider, including prompts, uploaded images, creative instructions, scene descriptions, and generated-content requests.

Each provider processes information according to its own privacy practices and contractual terms. Ambient Studio may limit available providers or models based on account type, product configuration, pricing, or usage limits.

4. Service Providers

• Supabase: authentication, database, storage, and backend infrastructure.
• Google: Google account authentication.
• Resend: transactional email delivery, including authentication email.
• Stripe: subscription billing, payments, and billing management.
• Hosting providers: website and application hosting, deployment, and infrastructure.
• AI providers: AI text, image, and video processing.

5. Uploaded and Generated Content

You are responsible for content you upload and for ensuring that you have the right to use it. Ambient Studio may temporarily or persistently store uploaded or generated materials depending on the feature being used. Some features may store data only in your browser while others may store information in cloud infrastructure.

6. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information when reasonably necessary for service providers, payment processing, authentication, AI processing requested by you, security and fraud prevention, legal compliance, enforcement of our Terms, protection of users or Ambient Studio, or a merger, acquisition, financing, sale, or transfer of the business.

7. Data Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards intended to protect information, including authenticated access controls, encrypted network connections, restricted provider credentials, access controls, database security policies, file validation, and payment processing through established third parties. No system can guarantee absolute security.

8. Data Retention

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, maintain your account, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, prevent fraud or abuse, and maintain security and operational records. Local browser data remains on your device until removed by you, your browser, or Ambient Studio.

9. Account Deletion

Users may request account deletion. Deleting an account may result in deletion or de-identification of associated personal information, subject to legal obligations, fraud-prevention requirements, billing records, security logs, dispute resolution, and reasonable backup retention periods.

10. Cookies and Similar Technologies

Ambient Studio may use cookies, local storage, session storage, and similar technologies for authentication, session management, preferences, security, functionality, analytics, and product improvement.

11. Children’s Privacy

Ambient Studio is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that such information has been collected, we will take reasonable steps to delete it.

12. Your Choices and Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights regarding your personal information, including access, correction, deletion, a copy of certain information, objection to certain processing, restriction of certain processing, and withdrawal of consent where processing is based on consent.

13. International Processing

Ambient Studio and its service providers may process information in the United States or other countries. By using the service, you understand that information may be processed outside your country of residence.

14. Beta Services

During beta periods, features may change frequently. Data structures, storage behavior, usage limits, AI providers, account features, and product functionality may change as the service develops.

15. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When appropriate, we will update the effective date and provide notice of material changes.
